2018 PCC Patching Program

Description

This project provides for repairs to various streets and will consist of approximately 400 repair locations to the subdivisions located between 86th Street to 100th Street and from Douglas Avenue to South of Aurora Avenue. It is anticipated that this project will be completed by the end of September 2018.

General Information:

The street will remain open during construction with alternate lane closures in either direction. Please use caution while driving through construction zones as safety is of the utmost importance.

Some patches may be located directly in front of driveways and will impair the use of the driveway until the concrete is placed and cured. This may cause driveways to be closed for three to four days. The contractor will be contacting the affected homeowners personally, to coordinate before this work is conducted.

Some areas will require the removal and replacement of the grass behind the curb. The contractor is responsible for the backfilling and seeding of these areas. Additional watering by the property owner is appreciated and will minimize your inconvenience and will help establish a good root system. The contractor will be back in the fall to sod areas where seeding did not establish.

If you have irrigation lines or sprinkler heads by the back of curb, we ask that you mark them and let us know.

Project Status Update - 4/26/18

The contractor will skip Valdez Drive from 100th Street to 101st Street until the month of June. Residents in this area have been contacted directly.
